The following positions are available for a 2 year term. You must be a certificate holder and a member of the chapter to run.
President (Official ISC2 Position, Required) The President will Chief Executive Officer of the Chapter and, subject to the control of the Directors, will have general charge and supervision of the affairs of the Chapter. The President will preside at all meetings of the members and will be chairman of the Board of Directors. The President will have the obligation to report to the membership in writing at least annually regarding the activities of the Chapter during that year.
Vice President (Unrequired Position) The Vice President will preside at meetings in the absence of the President, perform the duties of the President in the event of his/her absence or disability and perform other duties as pertain to this office. The Vice President, in conjunction with the sponsorship chair, will solicit local colleges and other non-profits to explore partnering opportunities. The Vice President will be responsible for the website and the ISC2Chapter-PennHighlands website.
Secretary (Official ISC2 Position, Required) The Secretary will have possession of the records of the Chapter and of the Board of Directors. The Secretary will keep minutes of all meetings and be responsible for giving notice of meetings as set forth under these Bylaws. The Secretary will be in charge of all correspondence of the Chapter and have such other duties as the President deems appropriate
Treasurer (Official ISC2 Position, Required) The Treasurer will be the Chief Financial Officer of the Chapter. The Treasurer will receive all money, keep amount of the same, and on approval of the Directors make all proper disbursements. The Treasurer will be required to present income and expenses, and any other relevant financial information, to the board at each regularly scheduled meeting of the Directors. The Treasurer will prepare and submit an annual report to (ISC)2.
Membership Chair (ISC2 Position, Required) The Membership Chair will assume all duties relating to membership and membership record keeping. He or she will also have the responsibility of notifying all applicants for membership. The Membership Chair will have responsibilities for social media design and activities in conjunction with the Sponsor Chair when the sponsor chair exists.
